There have been problems in the past involving such artists as Oasis, Linkin Park and Bjork. Modern Sky proudly announced last year that at least half of the bands on the main stage would be foreign. Many of the acts like The Buzzcocks, The Futureheads, British Sea Power, International Noise Conspiracy, Radio 4, Heart Revolution and Terror Pigeon Dance Revolt, had already flown into China when they heard that their performance, because of unfathomable reasons, would not take place. With the celebration of 60 years People’s Republic of China behind us and the World Expo taking place in Shanghai, it seems it will really happen this year! Monokino at the Modern Sky Festival 2010!
